Have You Been Affected By Mold Exposure?

Copyright 2012 Jacquelyn A Close

How many times have you woken up with a headache, stuffy nose, and aching all over?

Does this happen to you frequently?

If so, you may be one of the millions of people who are unknowingly being exposed to mold in your home. Chronic colds, flu, sinusitis, ear aches, headaches, itchy eyes, all of these can be the result of mold exposure.

According to Dr. Ritchie Shoemaker, about one-quarter of the population are genetically predisposed to be extremely sensitive to mold.

Studies completed by Johns Hopkins and Harvard Universities found that
50% of all buildings have mold.
And where there was mold, there was a
   50-100% increase in respiratory problems.
The Mayo Clinic
1 in 7 Americans suffers from acute fungal sinustis,
   resulting from exposure to mold.

Dr. Shoemaker, Dr. James Shaller, Dr. Marvin Sponaugle, and Dr. Joseph Brewer have all said that their patients who suffer from various illnesses including Fibromyalgia, Chronic Lyme Disease, Chronic Fatigue, Epstein Barr, Substance Abuse, Depression, Neuropathy, and other chronic auto-immune illnesses are exacerbated by and may actually in some cases be caused by mold exposure. They are telling us that there is no hope of treating these patients successfully without getting rid of the mold in their environment. So, if you know someone with one of these types of diagnoses, they may never be able to get well until they address the mold in their homes and work places. And until very recently there was no option available that wasn't as detrimental to their health as the mold itself.

Scientists estimate that fibromyalgia affects 5 million Americans 18 or older. Between 80 and 90 percent of people diagnosed with fibromyalgia are women. However, men and children also can have the disorder. Most people are diagnosed during middle age.

Federal health authorities estimate that chronic fatigue syndrome affects 1 to 8 of every 1,000 Americans older than age 18. Women are affected about twice as often as men. Although the illness is most common in people 25 to 45 years old, chronic fatigue syndrome can attack people of all age groups, including children.

According to the National Library of Medicine's MedlinePlus.

20 million people in the United States

suffer some form of depression.

In the United States, 43 percent of American children have at least 1 of 20 chronic health problems.

Are you one of the millions with chronic health problems?
Do you feel that no one understands what you are going through?
Do you wonder if anyone has ever gotten over the pain and out of the cycle of continuous illness?

I have.
I was one of those millions for over 20 years.
But today I am Pain Free and Allergy Free!!!
I had Fibromyalgia.
I had Chronic Sinusitis and Allergy symptoms.
I had Chronic Sciatica.
I had migraine headaches regularly, was hospitalized twice for them.
I had headaches every single day for years.
I was diagnosed with Cancer in 1985 and given less than 2 months to live...
and quite frankly there were days when I wanted to die, but...
I didn't.
I took over 500 aspirin every month just to try to keep the pain at a tolerable level.
And God, through His Infinite Wisdom, Love and Mercy sustained me and today...
And You can be too.

The Bible says:  My People Are Destroyed for a Lack of Knowledge.

If you are among the millions who are suffering and looking for answers, share your story with me. And stay tuned as I share my stories with you.
